MaineGeneral Medical Center
Project Manager
- Managed construction activities for MGMC at all levels of value and complexity, including a new LEED Gold, 640,000 sf, $320 million replacement hospital and a $16 million redesign of an existing Hospital into an outpatient center
- Contract management of multiple vendors, consultants, and contractors
- Project oversight of design process from project inception – defining scope, interfacing with stakeholders, and coordinating design efforts with architects, engineers, and consultants
- Performed cost estimating, scheduling, coordination, and problem solving
- Developed designs with Engineering and Plant Operations staff input to ensure daily operational excellence of final product
- Management team member for the New Regional Hospital, the first full Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method project in the Northeast, now called the Alfond Center for Health
- Developed an industry-leading software solution to integrate Building Information Models (BIMs) with facilities management software
- Regional and national speaker on the topic of BIM integration
- Owner’s representative for LEED Certification, through team collaboration the project achieved LEED Gold, exceeding goal of Silver
- Project lead for redevelopment of Thayer campus into a comprehensive outpatient center, now called the Thayer Center for Health – again with a collaborative IPD approach, this time tailored to a smaller renovation

Bath Iron Works
Designer
- Industrial design role in a 3D-design environment, collaborating in live parametric models
- Duties included modeling, visualization, and documenting & detailing for ship construction drawings and computer aided manufacturing
- Member of ship-wide design control review team for quality assurance peer reviews and preparing presentations for both internal and U.S. Navy reviews
- Resolved design related problems encountered during ship construction and coordinated multiple trades and systems

Architectural Resources

- Managed projects to meet objectives on time and within budget, working on nearly $50 million worth of architectural design projects
- Owner’s Representative for multiple healthcare projects: bidding projects, selecting contractors, managing contractor scheduling, issue resolution, and finances
