Some of our work has a physical location and does not just appear on paper or in cyberspace. Screen Porch Studio is the design and project management lead for the complete signage package throughout the new Penobscot Pavilion at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. This new patient care tower is a $100+ million project, serves patients from 2/3’s of the state, and also provides new main entrance and public spaces. Fresh signage was needed in all areas, including room and directional signage, new public facility maps, donor recognition elements, and exterior entrance identification. The phased project sees the first public opening in mid-2016, with additional floors opened over time. Along with the new building, signage needs are being addressed in existing areas as the client’s budget allows.
