Alfond Center for Health

One of the largest building projects in the history of Maine, the Hospital encompasses 640,000 sf with a total project value of $320 million. Adam was part of the management team using Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) to design & construct a sustainable, high-tech new healthcare campus under budget and ahead of schedule. The LEED Gold facility is the largest green building in the state and offers all inpatients a private room with natural light and views of nature.

Utilizing IPD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), prefabrication, and overlapping the design & construction schedules are just a few of the innovative methods employed on the project. To maximize the investment in BIM, Adam helped develop an industry-leading software solution to integrate 3D models with facilities management software.
